PS3 Slim & PSPgo launch in KL on Halloween!
The wait is over! From 31 October 2009 onwards, the new-and-improved PS3 Slim (with 120GB Hard Disk Drive) and the PSPgo (which replaces the handheld's old UMD drive with 16GB of flash memory) will be made available in Malaysia.Despite the new PS3's storage size increase (from a measly 60GB, when it was first released), it is two-thirds the physical size of its original. -- hence "slim". It's power consumption will also be cut down by a thid meaning -- ah hah! -- a less noisy operating fan.
You also have the option of purchasing the "Vertical Stand" (CECH-2000) for the new PS3, to place it in a vertical position to save space. This "Vertical Stand" will retail at RM82, at the PS3 Slim launch.:pompom:
