report je kat tribunal...better..angkat skali ngan kedai2 tue skali...payah la kalau customer punya right sikit pon xmo jaga,da tue chip rosak lak ..apa kehal...tunggu sampai sebulan..lama tueh...mmg bukan sekejap..nikon malaysia patot jaga la kualiti sbb ramai org malaysia prefer nikon dslr...

Contract Law In MALAYSIA

Legal Issue on Contract Law in Malaysia - Good for us to know

This is something I like to share with you from one of my seminar recently. If you find this informative, pls circulate. It was conducted by A/P Catherine Tay on Legal issues in E-commerce.

Notice that most of the time, the receipt / invoice you received from the merchant carries this exclusion clause or similarly worded statement: 'Goods sold are not returnable' or 'No refund once sold'.

The thing that I have learnt from her is that : 'As long as your good is purchased for home use and not for business ( i.e. to be resold), the above exclusion clause is VOID.
That means, as long as the good is defective, regardless of what is worded, you CAN get back all your money spent. You do not have to accept a repair on the good or an exchange. You CAN ask for a refund. AND you are LEGALLY right and entitled to! What a relevation!!

And most of the time the merchant will refuse to return you your money.

Her advice? >From her own experience ( and no less than 7 and all successful!) , she will threaten the merchant with four words: 'SEE YOU IN COURT!'

The court here refers to the Small Claims Tribunal Court .

However, you don't have to tell them what court! All you have to pay is RM10 admin fee and the loser (the merchant) will have to refund you the money PLUS the admin fee!

She shared this with us because she felt that even educated people are cowed by such unfair wordings (which includes her jaded friends who are not lawyers).

Pls try not to let the merchant fleece you the next time you have a defective good.

I know where to file this. On the 16th floor of Putra Place (The Mall opposite Putra World Trade Centre) . The form cost RM5.00. The Tribunal will settle within 2 months period.

Nikon D5000 aku pun baru habis garenti setahun tiba tiba rosak..LCD dia menu takeh bukak..nak tengok pic yang dah ambik kat LCD tak boleh..pendek kata LCD tu tak berfungsi sepenuhnya...

selasa baru ni dah pegi kat PKNS services center NIKON tu nak repair..lepas tiga hari dia call kata papan board litar dalam kamera tu rosak..nak repair kena RM750..mak aiii..!!

aku rasa rugi sesangat laa pulak..baru setahun pakai beli baru lak tu...rosaknya pulak tepat tepat time garenti dia dan dan tu jugak habis...dan jarang2 gak guna kamera ni..(boleh kira ngan jari berapa kali guna) dah rosak nikon ni..

aku PK Pk balik padan laaa masa guna dulu kalau selalu sangat tengok pic yang dah di ambil selalu tengok gambar tu balik pada paparan LCD kamera tu terasa panas sesangat..tak tahan panas ghuapanya kalau selalu main LCD tu...aku rasa tu laa kelemahannnya...

tapi..kalau ambil gambar still boleh ambil macam biasa dan masuk dalam memory card tu kemudian tengok kat PC..tapi tu laa untuk setting menu, date, dan lain lain tak leh..kecewa tull laa...:( dah laa beli harga ribu2..tak puas pakai dah rosak..tak lasak sangat

persoalannya ialah...

ada tak tempat lain yang boleh kurangkan kos repair tu??

menurut technican NIKON tu..kena tukar satu board litar dalam kamera tu...tu harga dia..RM750.00

dan lagi satu perlu tak repair dulu..sedangkan masih boleh lagi ambil secara tanpa guna LCD dia..

pening betul aku..

minta buah fikiran tuan dan puan bijak bestari dalam ni...

walaupn thread ni dh lame...tp sy nk tnye...nikon ds5000 tetibe2 x bole on..skrin gelap je... n try cas pn x connect... pastu try connect ke laptop pn x detect... bole lg ke bwk ke nikon pj walaupn warrnty dh hbis luput... 2thn lalu...ermmmm....pliss advise.... n nk tau mahal x costing n merepair xmcm kes sy ni....?
