branch tu dekat ke jauhgune leased line le huhuhu.
kalau dekat leh ar sambung kan cable network..
kalau jauh ni sure nak kena guner internet kan..
bleh x bagi detail sikit..
kau nak wat network untuk aper..
maksud aku kegunaan network tu..
kalau setakat nak share information..
prepare jer server kat 2 2 branch tu..
pastu setup ftp server..
pastu nak share paper..
up ke ftp server tu..
then branch lagi satu masuk ke ftp server tu untuk locate file yang di upload..
begitu gak sebalik nya..

kenapa nak setup one ftp server at each location? membazir jer tu and not efficient. buat secure wan between the branches and put servers at one of the branches, usually main branch. each branch can still have its own internet access or they can also share (easier for maintenance).
of course, the scenario depends on how big the branches are, the distance between the two, how secure they want it and how many heads at each branch. without the details, it's hard to advise what works best.
kalau branches kecil, setup windows vpn service ajer at main branch.
kalau speed internet xlaju..
lambat ar process upload data ke ftp kan..
tambah lak ramai access serentak untuk upload file.
so kalau letak kat 2 2..
so setiap branch ada tempat upload ftp sendiri..
pastu network dalam satu building jer lagi laju untuk upload..
just nak access dari branch lagi satu jer perlu internet connection..
nak setup ftp server pun bukan perlu banyak modal kan..
just perlukan satu computer server dengan paper server operating system..
dah leh setup ftp server..

in that case, your real issue here is not space but rather bandwidth. with two ftp servers, one on each branch, with lots of users, you still have problem. if you have to replicate large data, then you have to do it after hours so that you won't clog the bandwidth. not efficient - waste time and money (you're behind in business). isn't it better to just upgrade the bandwidth? this way users can just vpn to main branch anytime they want to get the data. may be you have to cough up a little more money monthly, but the reward is bigger and better... you're not behind in business. your customers happy, you happy.
dekat ke jauh ? kalau dekat guna aje cable ..tapi kalau lain2 negeri or negara. ..boleh guna list line or strymex aje .. buat VPN ...antara firewall ke firewall .. kalau pakai zywall? boleh tak.. situ ada setting Gateway policy dan network policy.. IPSeC VPN... buildkan satu tunnel untuk hubungi 2 site itu ;P setup server... buat VPN senang...... kalau byk duit guna leased line guna router...... sekian

It depends on berapa jauh branch, numbers of users dan jugak what type of application running across the line.Pun jugak which site yg host dan what kind of infrastructure yang host dah ada sekarang.VPN Site to Site is the cheapest tp mesti ada control for internet to avoid back door access to your network.
Saya tengok Juniper SSG5 did very well on this type of connection..
