Assalamualaikum and hello everyone,The AYTR Bowling Competition, "When Leaders Become Bowlers", has been confirmed and all AYTR members are invited to participate. Details are as follows:
Day/Date: Saturday, 9th August 2008
Venue: Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club
Time: 7:45pm to 11:00pm
Fee: RM15/person
Rules & Regulations:
i. This competition is open to AYTR members only
ii. It is a team event and each team is required to have 4 members. There is no restriction on the team combination, i.e. team members can be all female/male or mixed, and from the same/different PKTR batch, as long as there are 4 members in a team.
iii. If you are not able to form a team of 4, you can register anyway and your team will be decided on the day of the competition, where you will be put in teams with other members who were not able to form a team.
iv. The format of the competition is simple. The team that scores the highest total points after 2 games wins the competition.
v. Please wear suitable attire for bowling and bring your own socks. Bowling shoes will be provided to each participant.
vi. Competition will start at 8:15pm.
vii. For Muslims, there is a prayer room situated near the bowling alley and you may perform Maghrib prayers in case you arrive early.
Registration & Payment:
i. Each team is to choose one representative to register the team with the organizer.
ii. Please email Khairul Anwar at kh.anwar87@gmail.com or send a personal message to Khairul Anwar in Facebook (search for Khairul Anwar in the AYTR Facebook group), the following details, before 10.00pm, 4th August 2008:
- Team name
- Name of team members (please indicate the team representative and include each person's year of SPM)
- Handphone number and e-mail of team representative (or your HP number and e-mail if you are registering without a team)
iii. Participation fee is RM15 per person / RM60 per team. Payment can be made on the day of the competition.
iv. The team's representative shall collect the fees from his/her team members and pay it to the organizer. Receipt will be issued for the team.
How to get to KLGCC:
Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) is situated in Bukit Kiara, near the Sime Darby Convention Centre and the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club.
If you are using the Federal Highway, get on the Kerinchi Link and after paying the toll, take the exit to Mont Kiara / Sri Hartamas. You will see a signboard to KLGCC on your left.
Unfortunately, there is no LRT station near the club but you can stop at either the Universiti or Bangsar stations and take a taxi from the station to the club.
Carpool is the best alternative to reach the place.
