Okazaki Tomoya is a senior in high school, and his relationship withhis father is strained. On his way to the school, he encounters a girlnamedNagisa. Nagisa says that she can't go up the hill, and sotells Tomoya to go with her. Tomoya proposes that she can go up thehill if she finds something that interests her in school. Following hisadvice, she begins to struggle to revive a dead drama club. Beforelong, Tomoya begins to help Nagisa, and then, he finds himselfattracted to her.
