UNLESS you have a little background in Art and Design, you would probably think that it抯 impossible to learn a new trade like porcelain painting.

However, that is far from the truth in the case of Puan Hajah Norehan Kassim.

Norehan started to make porcelain roses about four years ago and opened a gallery called Kelopak Gallery in Shah Alam showcasing her works.

She has since moved to Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur this year, right next to Shakey抯 Pizza.

Having been a herbalist since 1993, Norehan surprised many when she diverted her passion from herbs and plants to making porcelain roses.

揜oses to me are the most beautiful flower and you can抰 help but notice how romantic they truly are, with their bodily curves and vivid colours,
