Taiwanese (republic Of China) F-16 Block 20 Mlu
Taiwanese (republic Of China) F-16 Block 20 MluTaiwan (Republic of China)'s F-16 block 20 MLU, which is the customized version for Taiwan, has advanced APG-63(V)3 radar, Modular Mission Computer, Advanced IFF, Advanced ECM and wide angle HUD as well as color LCDs, AIM-120C etc.making them virtually on par (and in some aspects better than) F-16 block 50/52 because :
Taiwanese F-16 block 20 has APX-113 Advanced IFF and F-16 block 50 does not. Also, block 20 has color LCDs that F-16 block 50 do not have. In certain aspects, block 20 is better than block 50 (keep in mind production of block 20 occured in 1996 after the production of block 50). Taiwan's F-16 block 20 MLU are called "A/B" F-16s only for political reasons. Their avionics are very similar to European MLU F-16s and in many ways more advanced than them because block 20s are armed with AIM-120C AMRAAMs.

Taiwanese F-16 block 20 MLU has F-16 block 15's front fuselage and F-16 block 50/52's wings and rear fuselage making them excellent dogfighters.
150 F-16 block 20 MLU are operational in ROCAF (Taiwanese air force). 66 new F-16 block 52s are requested though temporarily delayed due to budget constraints.
Eventual F-16 requirement for Taiwan is 216 (150 block 20 MLU and 66 block 52).
