The FIT SeventhAsian Translators' Forum will be held in Malaysia in 2013
The FIT Asian Translators' Forum is an international conference and a significant event in the Asian regional translation community. It is held every three years under the auspices of the International Translators' Federation (FIT). The first forum was held in Beijing (1995), the second in Seoul, South Korea (1998), the third in Hong Kong (2001), the fourth in Beijing (2004), the fifth in Bogor, Indonesia (2007), the Sixth in Macao (2010), and the next one will be in Malaysia in 2013.

PPA-13, THE 13TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TRANSLATION 2011,a biennial event of Malaysian Translators Association, is scheduled to be held on 19th - 21st July 2011in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia will bethe host for this event. The co-organisers are the Malaysian Translators Association, the Malaysian National Institute of Translation and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education.
The theme of this conference is Globalization Through Translation: A Catalyst for Knowlegde and Technology Excellence
Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan PPM Ke-29 dijadualkan berlangsung pada 18 Disember 2010 (Sabtu) di Hotel Singgahsana, Petaling Jaya. Mesyuarat akan dimulakan dengan makan tengah hari pada jam 12.00 tengah hari. Semua ahli PPM di jemput hadir.
