China PLA Marine Corps
The Chinese Marine Corps is a combined-arms amphibious assault force subordinated to the People抯 Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). The corps is mainly composed of two combined-arms 6,000-man brigades deployed in the PLAN South Sea Fleet. The force includes infantry, artillery, armour, engineer, communications, chemical defence, anti-armour, and scout personnel. The Marine Corps has two parallel chain-of-command: while it reports operationally through the South Sea Fleet commander, the corps is administratively responsible to the PLAN headquarters in Beijing for training, equipment, planning, personnel and policy. As a part of the PLA抯 rapid reaction units (RRU), the Marine Corps would likely be tasked directly by the PLA General Staff Department (GSD) in time of crisis.
BRIEF HISTORY
To capture the offshore islands still occupied by the Kuomintang forces, the PLA Navy formed 1st Marine Corps in 1953 on the basis of an infantry regiment and two infantry battalions transferred from the Army. The regiment was later combined with the navy amphibious tank training regiment and another naval infantry regiment to form a marine division. By the end of Korea War, the Marine Corps developed into 8 divisions with a total strength of 110,000 troops. However, the Marine Corps was disbanded in 1957 due to the cancellation of the plan to seize Taiwan Island.
In the late 1970s, the South China Sea became a new hotspot as international disputes over the sovereignty rights of Paracel and Spratly Islands in this region began to emerge. Following the 1974 conflict between the Chinese and South Vietnamese navies, the PLA leaders decided to re-establish the Marine Corps in 1979 to protect China抯 territorial claims in the region. In 1980 1st Marine Brigade was formed in Hainan Island under the command of the South Sea Fleet. Additionally, there is also a Marine garrison detachment stationed on Woody Island (referred to as Yongxing Island in Chinese) in the Paracel Islands (referred to as Xisha Island in Chinese) and some reefs in Spratly Islands (referred to as Nansha Island).
In response to the increasing tension between China mainland and Taiwan, the Marine Corps has been expanded again since the late 1990s, with the size of 1st Marine Brigade increased and the second Marine Brigade (164th Brigade) established in Zhanjiang in 2001. The armour elements in the Marine Corps was also enhanced with new amphibious tanks and armoured fighting vehicles being introduced to increase the corps

fighters such as raptor is like F16 where the aircraft frame is not stable and highly controlled by computers in order to fly.It is impossible to pirate the Raptor w/o your own basic research and I don't see the point in doing that.

The Chinese aviation industry began the preliminary research for China抯 4th generation fighter programme in the mid-1990s. In 1998 the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) reported that an advanced F/A-22-class twin-engine stealth fighter known as J-12 was under development at Shenyang. Later in 2003 an Internet source photo revealed a fighter mockup for wind tunnel test which may be linked to the J-12 project. As more details of the fighter began to emerge, it was understood that the fighter will also be fitted with an internal weapon bay and possibly active phased array radar.
Considering China抯 track record in combat aircraft development, a project like the J-12 may prove challenging. It will involves technology advancement in a number of fields including materials, high-performance aviation engine, electronics, flight control software, and stealth technologies. A project of this scale will also require huge amount of investment and considerable knowledge of complex project and manufacturing management. While China may be able to benefit from some 搊ff-the-shelf

Chengdu J-13XXJ J-13 (J-XX, JianJiji-13, F-13) J-10 A Twin Engine
Following the successful development of the J-10 fighter, Chengdu and its subordinated 611 Aircraft Design Institute began to work on an enlarged twin-engine version of the J-10 to compete with Shenyang抯 J-12 project for the PLAAF抯 4th generation fighter programme. The new fighter, which was reportedly designated J-13, inherited the J-10抯 canard delta design and resembles the Russian Mikoyan MiG MFI (Project 1.44) fifth-generation fighter demonstrator in many aspects. The J-13 design is less radical in terms of design and technology compared to the Shenyang J-12, and therefore may stand a better chance of becoming successful.
It was reported that Russian MAPO-MIG has been working with Chengdu since the late 1990s to develop a new generation fighter based on the J-10 design. The J-13 may be powered by two improved AL-41 turbofan engines with thrust-vectoring nozzles and possibly supersonic cruise capability too, giving a maximum take-off weight of 20t. If this is proven to be true, the J-13 will be a high-performance heavyweight fighter superior to the European EF-2000 Typhoon and French Rafale, though it may not be as capable as the F/A-22 Raptor.

Anyway, China has been systematically stealing technology from US for decades, so it no surprise that they end up with copycats.
Like I said, copycating is not the best approach.
But it get you somewhere fassst!
