As previously reported at the CELTIC FROST website, May 29th marked the first time in over 15 years that the band performed live, playing to a capacity crowd at the Remise venue in Wil SG, Switzerland.
Meanwhile a member of the Celtic Frost Forum has revealed the setlist for the above mentioned performance, which is as follows:

Kerrang!, the much beloved 'bible of heavy metal, will be celebrating its 25th birthday by giving away a CD with its 06.06.06 issue (in stores by Wednesday May 31st).
Entitled High Voltage the 15-track disc is made up of classic rock and metal songs covered by contemporary bands, with 10 of the tracks recorded exclusively for the CD.
"After the phenomenal response we got from our Re-Mastered album, we knew we had to put together an equally special CD for our 25th birthday," says K! editor Paul Brannigan. Vincent McAllister, the guitarist and a founding member of seminal metal band Pentagram, has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 51.
McAllister played guitar in the classic 70's Pentagram line-up that also included vocalist Bobby Liebling, bassist Greg Mayne and drummer Geof O'Keefe. His recorded works can be heard throughout the various Pentagram collections.
McAllister was highly respected as a guitarist and person amongst his peers. McAllister had spent the past few years working on material in his home studio and planning to return to playing again with former Pentagram members O'Keefe and Mayne.

Sonata Arctica - Live DVD Tops Finnish Charts
Sonata Arctica's live DVD, "For The Sake Of Revenge," has entered the Finnish Music DVD chart at position No. 1. The CD version of "For The Sake Of Revenge" landed on the national album chart at No. 26.
"For The Sake Of Revenge" was recorded at Shibuya AX in Tokyo, Japan on February 5th, 2005 and was mixed by Pasi Kauppinen at Studio57. The mastering duties were handled by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers.

SLAYER frontman Tom Araya has told George Stroumboulopoulous of CBC's "The Hour" (web site) that the title of the band's forthcoming album will be "The Final Six". This information has not yet been confirmed by SLAYER's management or record label, but when SLAYER guitarist Kerry King was asked by Kevin & Bean of Los Angeles' KROQ FM on Tuesday (June 6) what the CD would be called, he replied, "I'm not positive it's been mailed yet. Britain's NME (www.nme.com) has issued the following report:
GUNS N' ROSES singer Axl Rose was reunited with estranged guitarist Izzy Stradlin as Download drew to a close tonight (June 11th).
And heavy metal's legends of Sunset Strip closed the Donington festival in a typically chaotic style. Midway through the set, Rose introduced original member Stradlin for three songs, 'Patience', 'Night Train' and 'I Used To Love Her'.
It was only Stradlin's second show back with the band in over a decade, following a shock appearance in New York last month.
But that was not the only surprise instore; for 'My Michelle', the band were joined by former SKID ROW singer SEBASTIAN BACH.
Guns N' Roses took the stage half an hour early, but Rose easily made up the time in a series of sensational walk-offs.
After slipping over during 'Sweet Child O'Mine', Rose annnounced that the band were experiencing "technical difficulties" and left the stage for five minutes while a guitarist played an instrumental version of 'Don't Cry'.
The singer had already abandoned the show once before, leaving the crowd with an instrumental version of CHRISTINA AGUILERA's hit 'Beautiful'. And he threatened to leave the stage after 'Better' if the crowd persisted in throwing bottles.
However, they did get to air 'new' songs 'Better', 'The Blues', 'IRS' and 'Madagascar'.
Perhaps referencing this weekend's Nokia Isle Of Wight festival, Rose dubbed the site "the Isle Of Wrong" before 'Sweet Child O' Mine'.

US rock legends JOURNEY have been accused of lip-synching on their current tour and a website has been launched to discuss the issue here. In the meantime, the band have posted the following message at their official website:
"Journey would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our European fans for the reaction we received on our recent trip. The welcoming response from our fans was totally unexpected, and goes to prove what we抳e said and known all along .. that journey fans are the greatest fans in the
world. We want you all to know that we were totally blown away by your tremendous and positive response to our shows and songs, and that we had no idea how much you have missed seeing us, but even more so, how much we抳e missed seeing you and visiting your great countries. OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO THE PRESSSince the beginning of SEPULTURA the ideas of the band were based on the open mindedness, a strong attitude, and the belief in what ever it is that you set your mind to do do it with all your heart.
This band has grown to become more then just the individuals in it, with it's additions of members from the start and until now. The ideas and determination from all the members co-founders or not has kept this band together for many years along with the important belief from our supportive fan base.
We set out to create, perform, and communicate our music to the world, an aspect of SEPULTURA that is still alive with us. We do not want to quit in the middle of what we started because this means something to us and to the people that believe in us.
We created an album and video with the idea of supporting them 100% and that is what we plan to do with our releases.
We will finish the touring cycle world wide for Dante XXI which we already started. We have enlisted (Jean Dolabella from Belo Horizonte) to come to complete the touring cycle on the road who will bring the positive attitude, passion and drive that has given the integrity to the name SEPULTURA.
Despite of all our efforts to compromise and respecting Igor's desire to have a break for himself we needed to follow up with our new release with touring which is what was expected of us to do. With Igor's full understanding that we would continue the touring cycle with someone else it was accepted and fully understood by him. Upon return from the first part of the tour Igor decided to leave the band by his own choice and we can accept that. We wish him all the luck in what ever it is he wishes to pursue.
