Let's build up a story
This is another way to improve your English, hope everybody will join in.*Kalau ada kesalahan, bolehlah kawan2 kita yang pandai tu tolong betulkan.
I will begin the story, you can continue it and we'll see how the end turns up :)
The night was young. I picked up my book and continued to read when I heard... a gunshot sound out of nowhere. Quite close. I was startled by the sound of the gun and accidentally dropped the book to the floor. Crash. The window near to my side splintered like showering drizzle.
I ducked. I crawled under the table and felt my hands trembling as I tried to turn off the light. But it was too late! Somebody caught my ankle and roughly pulled me right out from under the table. 'Where's your husband, dearie?' a raspy, bitter voice threw out the question... I struggled as hard as I could, trying to free my ankle from his grip. 'Stop your struggles or you gonna be sorry!!'
'You got the wrong place...I don't have a husband!" Hearing my words, he laughed out loud and grabbed my other leg, pulling me towards him. I saw the book ...
(hey, how come we're the only one playing...lol) The book! ..yes!...maybe that was what he was after. or I could use the book to knock the living daylight out of him.
Bingo! And suddenly, a frighted little voice came from nowhere...."kak long?Kak long where are you?"
That was my dear little sister.Oh no!!!! my brilliant idea of hitting the man with the book vanished before my eyes.. my sister! oh no! i just can't.. can't let her get close.. and just as i feared, i heard her little footsteps getting nearer and nearer... He cupped my mouth so hard and I bite. But he didn't budge. I was screaming but not even my little sister could hear my voice.
And at that moment, I know my sister would never find me. Blackness swirled. Next time, I opened my eyes, my heart stopped! "where am i? this is not my house!"
i looked around me frantically. i was in a room where there were no furniture except for old cardboards strewn everywhere.
i was all alone. "You should count your lucky star to still be able to have a chance
to know this is not your abode...ahahahah!" the raspy, bitter laugh
menacingly tickled my ears. i screamed. the man was back! i could not see his hideous face for it was covered in a mask.
"scream as loud as you can... no one can hear you here!!!" he laughed like a maniac. "Where's your husband? We need him to do a special job for us..."
