The Clock of Perennial Battle
Tic toc tic toc,The clock stops ticking on three,
It's a fabled witching hour,
Or just a circadian rhythm ....
For heretic and dour,
The painful veracity that haunts my mind,
And demons latch onto a rhetoric of undefined,
With a profound merge of emotions ....
Sorrow,
Merry,
Or frightened.
Tic toc tic toc,
it's a time for all sorts of shenanigans,
Much more of the hooligans,
The lost of sleeping rhythm,
Feel like in the city of Gotham,
Asylum out of tangent,
Need to vent the tedium,
Going back to the sky of transient,
And the apostate runs the clock down again ....
Tic toc tic toc,
The ungodly hours just passed by,
Thomp thomp thomp ....
Incantations linger, as lullaby,
The orb of morning starts peering its way,
Car honking fills up the placid air,
First rays of light send the delirium away,
Eyes wide open, but a jaded stare,
Stare the monster down with a frown full of despair.
