It is intended to be the first film in Sony's Marvel Universe, adjunct to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is being directed by Ruben Fleischer, from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, Kelly Marcel and Will Beall, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, and Reid Scott.
Development of a Venom film, a spin-off from the Spider-Man film franchise, first began with producer Avi Arad in 2007. After various iterations, work on a new version began in March 2017 to start a new shared universe featuring the Marvel characters to which Sony possessed the film rights, though Sony also intends for the film to share the world of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is set in the MCU after a deal between Sony and Marvel Studios. Rosenberg and Pinkner were set to write, with Fleischer and Hardy added in May 2017. Principal photography began in October 2017, taking place in Atlanta, New York City, and San Francisco.Venom is set to be released in the United States on October 5, 2018.

Tom hardy masa muda mmg sgt hot British actor usually have good strong voice/tone....therefore bila pakai character costume or voice over hidup character tu...look at him as bane...benedict cumberbatch as smaug (dragon in the hobbits), paul bettany as jarvis (iron man) but best narrator/voice over/monologue to me is morgan freeman...

well Tom Hardy nih kalau berlakon really put himself into the character, tak kisah apa watak..
tengok 'Taboo' & 'Perky Blinders' really typical haggard Scottish men..
but u will still love him..

also for me...robert downey jr pon nice as tony stark/ironman...
so for tom hardy case, sayang jugak dapat watak villian...
but actually it does suit him..if u all got see some of his past movie character

aah kan, btul gk ckp u tu. mcm sir anthony hopkins as odin, tom hiddleston as loki dgn idris elba as heimdall, diorg punya voice projection sngt regal dan commanding,
wlupun i sakit hati ptut marvel develop character heimdall tu.
dari 1st trailer ni belum rse lg aura nye. hopefully venom ni cemerlang la, jgn disia2 muka segak bergaya tom hardy.

actually sony buat movie ni sbb sakit ati ngan marvel. kan diorg dh jual balik spiderman kt marvel, skali tu spiderman yg marvel buat meletop letop kau.
venom ni kire antithesis spiderman.kalau tak de spiderman tak wujudla venom ni sbb asalnye venom ni entiti alien takde bentuk je.tu yg fans pun heran camna sony nk buat movie venom tanpa spiderman. pastu, yg fantastic four tu pun, masa marvel jual kt fox, diorg wat perjanjian yg dlm beberapa tahun sekali fox kene buat movie fantastic four, tak kisah la movie ape pun. kalau tak diorg hilang right for fantastic 4. tu yg kuar movie fantastic 4 yg tersaaangattttla hauk tu :lol::lol::lol: ekceli sejarah marvel ni menarik gak.camne marvel movie ni ditubuhkan.diorg terpaksa jual watak2 yg popular kt studio lain, mcm xmen, spiderman and fantastic four.tp marvel studio tetap gigih nak buat movie superhero sendiri. dan taruhan pertama diorg adalah ironman. tu pun masa tu, robert downey jr walaupun pelakon berbakat tapi dia tu ada sejarah alcoholism dan dadah yg sgt sgt teruk.yg aku penah baca, studio lain amek insurans utk pelakon diorg, ni marvel amek insurans against pelakon diorg, maksudnye kalau rdj tu collapse buat hal balik smpi movie takleh jalan diorg leh claim la.dahla iron man tu watak yg orang pun tak kenal.tp pas ironman meletop kebabom barulah marvel studio leh naik. kalau korg perasan pon, movie marvel ni mane meletop sgt pun watak2 die. pas kuar movie baru meletop. mcm thor, captain america, guardian of the galaxy. tu suma watak2 2nd tier je tu.tp yg bestnye, marvel studio ngaku diorg lukis komik pandaila, tapi nk buat filem tak reti. so diorg banyak beri kepercayaan pd pengarah diorg utk buat sendiri movie tu. len sgt ngan wb, byk sgt campur tangan executive yg tak tau haper.
hopefully someone leh buat biografi psl marvel. mmg menarik sgt
