Armenian Kornet-E anti-tank missile system makes public debut

Armenia showed its 9K129 Kornet-E anti-tank guided missile system during a military parade in Gyumri on 29 January, marking the 26th anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
An undisclosed number of Kornet-Es were acquired for the Armenian Army under the country’s ongoing military modernisation programme.
The armed forces are purchasing military equipment from Russia, with which Armenia is currently creating joint military forces.

Missing Armenian Military Jet Is Found: Two Pilots Are Dead
The missing military SU-25 jet is found in the mountains of Maralik; the pilots are dead.
''The site of the crash has been discovered. It is in Maralik region, in mountains. The killed pilots are Deputy Colonel Armen Babayan and Mayor Movses Manukyan. We express our condolences to the families of pilots,'' the spokesperson of RA Defense Ministry Arstrun Hovhannissian wrote on Facebook.

Southern Military Military District pilots hold air battles over Armenian skies

The pilots of the Southern Military District stationed in Armenia, conducted air battles and destroyed the planes of the conditional enemy, the agencies’ press service reported.
The combat pilots worked out air combat’s elements, performed simple and complex aerobatics, intercepting enemy signals and landing their aircraft at the Erebuni military airfield.
Over 150 servicemen took part in the event, with 50 units of military ground and aviation equipment involved.
