Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the sequel to 2015's Ant-Man, and the twentieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Peyton Reed with a screenplay by the writing team of Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Paul Rudd, and the writing team of Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. The film stars Rudd as Lang and Evangeline Lilly as van Dyne, alongside Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip "T.I." Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John-Kamen, Abby Ryder Fortson, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Douglas. In Ant-Man and the Wasp, Lang teams up with van Dyne to embark on a new mission from Hank Pym.

Lepas apa yg berlaku dlm Civil War, antman dgn hawkeye kena tahanan dlm rumah. Based on apa yg aku baca dan paham, antman & the wasp akan explore more pasal quatumn realmdan berlaku sblm half of population jadi debu. Antman and Wasp also got new mission to uncover secret from the past especially pasal misteri kehilangan Janet aka the original Wasp lakonan Michelle Pfeiffer.
On the same note, one of the Russo's brother ada kuar statement mcm ni:
"Obviously, the role that Ant-Man and The Wasp play in this story arc is a big one. We already know that the two characters will be in Avengers 4. What if these are the two characters who survive Thanos' wrath because of some adventure they are on in the Quantum Realm during the events of Infinity War and when they come back the world is a complete disaster?"
