Apa punca anak boleh hidap autism?
sehingga kini para penyelidik sendiri masih tidak dapat mengenalpasti punca sebenar berlakunya Autism. Tapi terdapat pelbagai kajian yang dilakukan untuk mencari punca sebenar Autism. Antara punca yang dikatakan ialah Autism disebabkan faktor genetik. Pengaruh genetik menunjukkan adik-beradik kepada individu autistik lebih berisiko mengalami Autism berbanding orang lain. Contohnya, kembar seiras lebih berisiko berkemungkinan untuk mendapat Autism berbanding kembar tidak seiras.
