i use books to chanel my depression. i read to build the wall with strangers. i read everything that can be read. books. forum. news. anything. to make the mind occupied.
Biasanya saya stage 4 tp kadang2 stage 8. Skrg nie bnk betul buku kat dalam bilik belum abis baca sampai mak dah bising. Seronok pula tgk buku bersusun kat rak buku tu. Sbb tu kalau pergi beli barang dapur mak dah pesan awal2, jgn singgah kedai buku {:mlbigsmile:}

Macam ni lah ke kronikannya ...
Ada banyak gak buku2 yang anak2 dah outgrow, e.g. buku utk early readers.... nak paskan pada cucu lama lagi kot :$... almost mint condition. Nak jual, don't know where, how, & when... would welcome any suggestions :)

Banyak stages in one tap utk achieve goal 2018 (to read books out of my comfort zone) then its stage 7- I'll try to discover new books. Which is from male authors, non-fiction or fantasy. Wish me luck!
Mine is still 2,3,4 in between I suppose. About 15 years ago, after my first heartbreak, I bought a novel and read and re-read it..until now I am not able to open nor read a single page of that book..as if the sadness is all there, just waiting to suck me in..
Stage 4 hereeee. Aku memang suka buku. Kalau pesta buku ke apa mesti nak pergi. Walaupun ada je yg tak baca lagi, tp reading a book on my age is not to be hurry. Lagi seronok baca buku in the santai mood kan.

Mine is stage 4..book as a medium to avoid interaction with others. Sometimes i use book and also phone to avoid bad-mouth people. Books as an excuse for me not to be in that group, usually collegue.
i suka baca buku...tp selected penulis, genre...i cuma xsuka bc buku yg berkaitan bidang kijer i jer....buku2 lain sma baca termasuk biography, animal etc....genre2 romance ni bc gak tapi boleh bilang dengan jarilah

i have an appreciation for words in general.i think it's a gift to be able to read because reading expands your world.i personally enjoy reading for relaxation, as well as an anti anxiety method.
reading is many things for me.i can go anywhere, i can be anyone, and i can do anything.it's an escape when i'm bored, sad or even happy.it's knowledge.it's traveling through many worlds and many lives.reading also relaxes me and gives me a way to unwind.
every so often i will come across a book that really speaks to me.i don't know if there is a word for it, but it's that feeling where i and the author see things exactly the same way, and an emotional connection occurs.

Stage 8.Hoarding book...kronik ni...sampai gerun gi pesta buku :'( kurang-kurang RM200++ melayang...pastu buku cam trofi sudahnya:funk:
