God creates light and separates light from darkness, and day from night, on the first day.
Yet he didn't make the light producing objects (the sun and the stars) until the fourth day (1:14-19).

And how could there be "the evening and the morning" on the first day if there was no sun to mark them? 1:3-5

God creates light and separates light from darkness, and day from night, on the first day.
Yet he didn't make the light producing objects (the sun and the stars) until the fourth day (1:14-19). This speaks of the Big Bang, numbskull. The Big Bang was separation of Light (Particles which was basics for all matter) and Darkness (the hyperspace which the Universe resides on).

And how could there be "the evening and the morning" on the first day if there was no sun to mark them? 1:3-5
Where did it says that the Stars were the only source of Light?
Furthermore, the Sun and the Stars formed millions of years AFTER the Big Bang, therefore it fits the description.

Isaiah 12:24 - God's plans and purposes always prevail and never fail; So...Our sovereign God will overthrow all enemies of His people.

Actually, during the Passover, God failed for 10 times in his plans. He sent 10 plagues to Egypt in order to make Pharaoh stop.

1. Turn water into blood.
2. Frogs to cover the land of Egypt.
3. Gnats to cover the people and animals of Egypt.
4. Flies to fill the houses and land of Egypt.
5. Kill all the livestock of Egypt.
6. Festering boils.
7. Hail to strike down everything.
8. Locusts to devour every plants and trees in Egypt.
9. Darkness for three days.
10. Kill every firstborn son of Egypt.

Did it work?
No.

No, God send ten plaques to show to the Pharoah (who did not believe) that He existed. The Pharoah believed that Moses was trying to establish himself as a King by removing a large number of his (slaved) workforce and refused to part with them.

The ten plaques of Egypt (which came one after another in a more terrifying manner) was to showcase that there was a higher force than the Pharoah (who consider himself as Divine origin).

The Pharoah had a choice - he could have resided to himself and allowed the slaves to leave with Egypt. Or he could speak to God via Moses and come to a common agreement (like term of the slaves release in return for something). He did nothing of a sort and believed that he was a divine origin (from Egyptian gods) and that no one else was above him.

Same way the People of Sodom and Gomorroh refused to change their ways despite of Abraham's pleads and warning of appending disaster.

Or the ancient people at time of Noah who told them that a disaster was coming. They could have created their own arks or helped Noah create the Ark in favor of being saved. They choose to remain ignorant and arrogant (just like Muslims today).

The morale of the story of Moses and the Ten plague is not a story of God failing to change the Pharoah's mind or how many times God needs to strike down someone before they change their mind. The morale of that story - like ALL the above mentioned story as well as the story of Adam and Eve and their fail is about FREE WILL AND THE CONSEQUENCE OF GOOD AND BAD DECISION. That's it.

Look at the Bible (Old Testament at least) and read it through that context. It wasn't teaching the People of the Book about how many times God have to kill people or drown them or strike them with Meteor etc. It is about the Free Will and how these people could suffer if they continue to live like pigs and dogs.

Christians, I need to know something. Are you against slavery?

Well, as an atheist, I'm truly against slavery because I see it as immoral, inhumane and absurd. Why would anyone in their right mind promote any institution which supports slavery right?

Where was god during slavery? Not only that he did nothing to stop it, he actually allows it to happen and he set rules on how to treat the slaves. Christians how do you explain away these immoral Bible verses?

Ephesians 6:5 - "Servants, be obedient to them that are your master according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ."

Exodus 21:20-21 - "And if a man smite his servant, or his maid with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall surely be punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished; for he is his money ."

Exodus 23:12 - "Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in household, and the alien as well, may be refreshed."

How dare you call us immoral when you support the book which permit slavery?!

Remember this well, Christianity accepted slavery. Humanity decided that slavery is not moral and we ended it. Not by god nor religion, but the compassion within us. Empathy is natural, religion hijacks the obvious.

Remember this well, Christianity accepted slavery. Humanity decided that slavery is not moral and we ended it.

Oh really? Your "humanity" ended slavery? When did your humanity ended slavery? WHAT YEAR? What Era? Which century?

Your so-called "humanity" existed long before any religion like Christianity came to be.
It did NOTHING when Egyptians choose to keep slaves.
It did NOTHING when Romans choose to keep slaves.
It did NOTHING when the Europeans sailed to South America and captured hundreds of slaves as commodity.

It did NOTHING when white men sailed to Africa and employeed their arch-enemy, the Muslims to capture and enslave the black Africans.

It did NOTHING when white men created Apathy system to rule over black people in Africa.

It did NOTHING when Hitler looked upon himself as model human being and everyone else who was not 6 feet tall, blue eyes and built like an athlete and killed them.

It did NOTHING when, despite of guaranteed freedom from the USA Constitution, the blacks were refused the right to vote or even sit inside the same bus with white folks in America during 1950s and 1960s.

Your nonsense about humanity could work on any humans who are not familiar with history, Boy. It will not work on someone who have walked on the World since the Ancient times. {:1_539:}

Look at the History books again, Boy. You will see that in all these in injustice done to their fellow men, there could always be a religious figure somewhere in the pages of history who fights back in name of God.

I can even give you a few names :-

- Roger Williams - lived around 1600s, he lived with Native Americans and spoke that there was no different between Native Americans and Englishmen and should be treated as equals.

- Richard Allen - born a slave in 1760 in Philadelphia, become a Christian at age of 17. He wrote (after hearing a white preach speak against slavery) - "My dungeon shook, my chains fell off and glory to God, I cried. My soul was filled."

- Lucretia Mott - born 1793 and fought against the slavery and for the right of women - drawing her faith to argue that ALL PEOPLE are created equal in eyes of God.

- Sojourner Truth - A spiritual person who become a preacher after a vision of Jesus. Her famous speech was "Ain't I a woman" in 1851, in Akron, Ohio.

Stupid ... Did you read the verse properly? {:1_567:}

It says "IF you look at a woman lustfully", the keyword here is "lustfully". Lust comes from the Heart, not the Eyes. Looking at someone's body doesn't make a person lustful. Desiring to conduct oneselves in lustful manner is what cause lustful onlook.

Doctors (male and females) have been looking at patients' bodies all day long. IF one were to follow this verse blindly like you, then we will have to pluck out all their eyes after they look at the first patient's body.
