The film is set for release in Japan in 2017. No official release date for North America has been announced.
The live-action Fullmetal Alchemist is directed by Fumihiko Sori, who previously commented on the film’s production saying: “The cast is entirely composed of Japanese actors, but the cultural setting is that of Europe. However, the race and nationality of the characters aren’t specifically identified.”
In the film, two alchemist brothers go on a quest for the Philosopher’s Stone after an attempt to revive their dead mother goes horribly wrong. It stars Ryosuke Yamada as Edward Elric, Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell, Dean Fujioka as Roy Mustang, Ryuuta Satou as Maes Hughes, Misako Renbutsu as Riza Hawkeye, Natsuna as Maria Ross,Natsuki Harada as Gracia Hughes, You Ooizumi as Shou Tucker, Jun Kunimura as Tim Marcoh, Fumiyo Kohinata as Hakuro, Yasuko Matsuyuki as Lust, Kanata Hongou as Envy, Shinji Uchiyama as Gluttony, and Kenjirou Ishimaru as Cornello.

cant wait! harap tak suck macam dorang buat kt streetfighter, dragonball, initial d atau avatar. mostly anime to real movie sangat teruk baik jalan cerita atau watak pelakon atau grafik :mad:

yang fail tu sebab hollywood yang buat...memang hancur...kalau japanese production yg buat mungkin ada harapan filem ni best....

Weakness pelakon japan adalah lakonan dia kaku dan expressi muka sgt bongok tak sehebat holywood.
Masalah holywood buat anime jadi movie, adalah jalan cerita yang bongok dan buat mcm kes asal siap je..

production jepun ni masalah dia budjet je...and filem dia mostly utk marketing jepun n asia....sebab tu ada kurang...tapi at least dia ikut storyline cam dlm manga/anime...
production hollywood lak budjet memang besar....tapi masalah diorang lak jalan cerita memang hancur...x ikut manga/anime....
tengok je la nanti camni fullmetal alchemist ni....best ke x...who know kan..:)
