Sonoris Mastering Compressor v1.2.0.0 Win 19 Jan 2024 | 4.0MB The Sonoris Mastering Compressor (SMCP) is a wideband mastering compressor compatible with VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and RTAS formats for both Windows and Mac. Tailored for handling delicate material, this ultra-clean compressor distinguishes itself by eliminating odd harmonic distortion typically found in most compressors. The SMCP employs audio upsampling up to 8 times to minimize residual artifacts, and users can enhance transparency by selecting auto-release and feedback detection with a choice of two soft knees. For a more assertive approach, users have the option to choose feedforward detection with a harder knee, adding a touch of "character" when pushed. Additionally, a switch allows users to introduce even harmonics for warming up the audio as needed. In addition to handling a complete mix, the SMCP is capable of operating in split mode for each individual L, R, M, or S channel, or any combination thereof, using the variable link. Each channel's sidechain includes a selectable high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filter. This provides significant flexibility and enables creative enhancement of the audio.
