Mark Sargison Kaleidoscope Vol 1 Guitar Loops WAV 19 January 2024 | 164 MB
Kaleidoscope Vol 1 stands as the initial compilation of samples by Mark Sargison, directed towards electronica and IDM producers with a more adventurous musical approach. All the sounds in this collection are meticulously crafted using a vast array of sound sources and processed through techniques developed over a fifteen-year period. The goal I set for myself in creating these samples was to produce sounds reminiscent of artists like Boards of Canada, Bibio, and Four Tet, as well as more abstract electronica creators like Fennesz, Tim Hecker, and Seekae. Though influenced by these artists in their production, the final samples possess enough distinctiveness to be employed across a wide spectrum of musical genres. This assortment includes samples at three different tempos: 80BPM, 110BPM, and 140BPM, carefully chosen to cover most electronica styles. All the samples are in loop format, with some being notably longer, intentionally designed to provide a range of tones and patterns within a single sample. Crafted to spark your creative process, both this library and others in the Kaleidoscope Vol 1 series are conceived as launching pads for music creation. The samples are designed for creative use and, while they can be employed in their original state, they are meant to be sliced and manipulated. The library encompasses 57 WAV loops recorded at 44.1kHz and 24 bits. The example below features sounds from across the entire Kaleidoscope Vol 1 series.
